We had to design our sets to show the set designers and makers what we were looking for in our music video. We currently have 2 versions of the same set. The first of the versions that is going to be showed in our music video is just a basic, stereotypical young teen girls bedroom, with a lot of pink, and fluffy pillows. It would look very similar to a barbie's bedroom, and so that is the kind of aesthetic we are going for in this first set. This then all changes very drastically, as obviously with our band being a rebellious pop-rock, we need to change from this stereotypical girls bedroom, and so the 2nd version of this set is a destroyed version of this set. We are going to film some of the destruction happening, but because that can sometimes look either pathetic or cost too much money, we are also going to make it look destroyed off camera so that we can get this version of the set looking the best it can, whilst still not having it be too unrealistic.
Here is a drawing of the first set that Adrianna and I drew together. We drew it from a birds eye view, and from a front angle to try and show it off as clearly as possible.
Here is the drawing that we did for the 2nd version of this set, again with a birds eye view and with a front on perspective.
