Feedback from my album artwork

I asked my media group to give me some brief feedback on my album artwork. The reason for this is that, although I am not doing the digipak as my role in post production, I thought that some of the feedback I received could of been helpful to Georgie, and if the band wasn't keen on any of the photos I used, then I wont use them in the social media.

The feedback I got was that firstly the group quite liked the album cover design. They said they liked how it was clear that Lottie was the front person of the group and the lead. They also liked how I incorporated the pink quite a lot in the album cover. They also liked how I had the fluffy teddy bear insides as part of the cd (inside right), and how the inside left was a photo of the teddy bears and how those two images linked up.

However, they did say that there were things that we would need to change if I were to make a second draft (which I am not but it is still good to get the feedback). They said (as I also thought) that the colouring on the teddy bear picture was way off in comparison to the colouring of the other ones and so it looks like it is part of a different album. They also said that they thought the font was cool, but it would be better if I could have gotten a more obvious graffiti one. Finally, they also said that I could have tried to use less photos from the actual shoot of the Dollhouse music video as although it is good to hint at themes from the video, there are loads of other songs on the track list of the album and so we need to make it as much about the album as possible.

Overall, I am very happy to receive this feedback, and I sent this same feedback to Georgie so that she might see if she can use some of the notes that we gathered to try and help her design the digipak.
