Making of our social media - part 1

Since Tegan and I are responsible for the social media part of the post-production work, we have decided to make a start on our social media. I have been assigned twitter, and Tegan is doing instagram. The reason we are doing this is so that our band can get as much recognition as possible on all platforms, and they can get their music out there as much as possible. 

Tegan and I created a social media timeline, and I have been working on a more detailed one specifically for twitter as well. 

Here are the first few twitter posts that I have done:

- The first post that I did on twitter was just an introduction to the bands social media, stating what the band were and the name. The reason for this was because the band had no previous presence on twitter, and so if we didn't do this tweet, no one would know who or what they were. 

- The next group of posts are an introduction to each of the different members of the band. The reason for this is so the audience can get better acquainted with the band, and so that we can better establish the roles (especially Lottie's role as the front person and lead singer).

I also made sure the bio of the twitter was in good order, as that will be the first thing the audience will see when they click on the bands twitter page. 

Overall, I am happy with the first few tweets on our bands social media and I think that I have set up the social media quite well. I think that now we are able to do some more interesting posts and we are able to show the bands star image more, since they have now been established as a music group on the social media.
