Making of our social media - part 2

Since I have established now the band on the twitter page that I set up for them, it is time to start trying to get some more of the bands information and star image on their twitter. We also want to try and hint at the new album (that Georgie is designing the digipak for) and hint at the single and music video of the song Dollhouse throughout the earlier stages of our social media - as we learned to do from the social media research task. 

The first post that we did trying to achieve this was a post trying to hint at the thought of a possible new album/song coming. To do this, I posted a picture of the band rehearsing, with an appropriate comment hinting very slightly at a new release for the band. 

The next post that I did was actually saying that there was going to be a new album and so it was clarifying the post before. I decided that since there wasn't an appropriate photo I could find for this tweet, I would go without a photo. Also, I thought the tweet held more power without the photo as the photos can sometimes distract from the writing. 

The next post that I did was a backstage photo after a concert. I make sure in the caption that the band were positive and hyping up the concert so the audience who may see this try and go to the next concert and also I made sure that the band thanked the fans as that was a pretty common theme when I did my research into similar artist's social medias.

The next post was just a picture of the band during the performance (that they talked about in the previous post). The photo was a unique photo of them in position on stage. 

The next post was quite a turning point for the band and quite a crucial tweet to make, and so I decided against having a picture with it. This was a tweet from the band declaring to their audience that they have signed their first record deal. 

I think that this secondary part of the social media has gone well, as we set out to establish the star image and the bands motivations to make music more, whilst also letting the audience know of any up coming releases. The way that we have tried to show the star image is primarily through the photos, but also through the way that I write each of the captions with the language and the all caps that I use. I think that this is going really well.
