Album artwork feedback (Georgie):
- Was the genre clear: as a group we all thought that Georgie had done a great job in making the genre clear.
- Was the star image correct: we thought that the star image was correct, but it could be highlighted slightly better, and that Georgie could include the band more in the album artwork. We also thought that the photo that Georgie had selected made G look like the lead singer and Lottie look like the drummer (which is the wrong way round).
- Does it work well with the other post-production products being made: again, we thought Georgie had done a good job with this, as there was a link between the album cover and the video, but not too much as it has other photos from the photoshoot.
- We also said that on the inside, it should include lots of black colouring, as then it would link to the black and white photo on the front cover.
- We also said that she needs to make sure all the photos are from the same shoot, so that it all links together.
Music video feedback (Adrianna):
*we gave this feedback before Adrianna added the non-sync stuff to the video
- Was the star image there: we all completely agreed that even without the non sync shots, the star image was clear as day.
- Lottie was obviously the frontman.
- Does it work with the other products: we all thought it worked really well with the other products, as we all used photos from the shoot of the music video in our products.
- The only other piece of feedback we really had to give was that there were a couple of times where the shots were really long and quite static, and we thought Adrianna could add some more stuff in there, but she explained that she was saving that space for the non-sync stuff in the video.
Social Media Feedback (Tegan and I):
- Adrianna and Georgie said that on the instagram, they wanted more pink, and Tegan and I agreed, but explained that there would be more pink, but a lot of the stuff that we want to post (which is pink) cant be posted yet since it hasn't reached that point in the timeline.
- They both also mentioned how the two social medias weren't exactly lined up, and we again had to explain that with twitter, you cant archive or draft posts, and so for me to get all the posts out I would have to do them at different times to Tegan.
- Georgie suggested that on our instagram, we split one photo into 6, and posted these 6 sections individually and consecutively to try and make one big image on the instagram, and Tegan and I really liked this idea. It would look a bit like this, with each section of the grid posted as one individual picture.
- They also said darker pictures for the instagram mainly, but also the twitter to try and link to the album cover better.
Overall, I think this feedback went really well and now we all have something to work towards for the final week of our post-production work.
