Making of our social media - part 4

I have since added some more posts to our bands twitter feed, as again having a consistent social media will develop a stronger and more loyal and interested fan base.

The first new post that I have added is the announcement of our album and the date and time that it will be released. This is a very important tweet to make, and to make sure that we don't distract from the words that we write about the release, I decided against having a picture attached to the tweet.

The next post that I did was a "sneak peek" post from the music video that we shot with the band for the song Dollhouse from the album. This was the perfect time to tweet this as it came just after the tweet notifying the audience on the album's release date, and it is relevant to the album. It also teases the songs theme and therefore a little bit of the theme of the album through showing a photo from the music video.

The next post that I did was promoting the fact that there will be a single release before the album is released, and the single that is going to be released is Dollhouse. This was a very tactically placed tweet and I think we timed it very well, as it comes just after a teaser from the songs music video, and it comes a couple of tweets after the announcement of the new album, meaning that both of those things are still fresh in the audiences mind. Again, no photo as it would distract from the importance in the writing of the tweet.

I am happy with the development of the twitter page so far, and I think that all we need to do is keep on going.
